The Role

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Wood Street Veterinary Group.

You will take care of general nursing/theatre duties, nurse clinics, anaesthesia and be responsible for the day to day running of the branch.

You will also be required to work 1:3 Saturday Mornings.

The salary for this role is up to £30,000 depending on experience.

 

About Us
Oakwood Veterinary Surgery is an established branch practice part of Wood Street Veterinary Hospital. It is well equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, separate dog and cat ward and hydrotherapy water walker. The practice is in Radlett, close to M25, St. Albans and with transport links into London close by.

 

About the Team and Culture
Our team is made up of 2 vets, 2 RVN's and 1 hydro-therapist who are at the Oakwood branch. Across the Wood Street Vet Group there are 14 vets including 2 cardiology certificate holders and a visiting dental specialist. There are nurses with anaesthesia, emergency and critical care, and exotics certificates at the main hospital. As a group, Wood Street works closely with the local RSPCA centre and undertake their veterinary work.

 

Applicant Requirements 
We will consider applications from an experienced or newly/almost qualified nurse. The ideal candidate should be able to work with the existing team as well as independently and be happy to work across our different branches if needed.
