Registered Veterinary Nurse – Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE | Contract: Permanent | Hours: Full or Part Time
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, close-knit small animal practice in Hertfordshire. This role offers an excellent work-life balance, genuine clinical autonomy and the chance to become part of a supportive team where nurses are encouraged to utilise their skills to the fullest.
The Role
- Full or part-time applications considered
- No out-of-hours
- No Sundays
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am–1pm) with time off in lieu or additional pay
- Involvement across all aspects of nursing including theatre, anaesthesia, inpatient care, laboratory work and nurse consultations
The Practice
This well-equipped first-opinion practice has a loyal client base and a collaborative team culture, allowing nurses the time and support to provide outstanding patient care.
Facilities include:
- Digital x-ray
- Ultrasound
- In-house laboratory
- Separate dog and cat wards
- Dedicated isolation ward and sterile theatre
- Regular visits from specialist clinicians in cardiology, orthopaedics and diagnostic imaging
The practice actively supports career progression, giving nurses the opportunity to develop clinical interests through funded CPD and further qualifications.
