If you're an RVN who loves getting stuck into a varied caseload, enjoys hands-on nursing and wants to be part of a genuinely lovely team, this could be a brilliant opportunity!

We're working with a fantastic, independently owned veterinary practice in West London, with purpose-built facilities, an incredibly talented clinical team and some seriously impressive equipment.

This isn't a practice where nurses are limited to the basics. You'll be encouraged to use your skills, get involved in interesting cases and develop in the areas of nursing you enjoy most.
 

Role: Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: West London
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
Hours: Full-Time – 40 hours per week
Shifts: Between 7:30am – 8pm
Weekends: 1:4 Saturdays & 1:8 Sundays
CPD: £1,500 + 3 paid CPD days
Annual Leave: 25 days + Bank Holidays + Birthday Off

🏥 The Practice Both sites are modern, well-equipped and offer a fantastic variety of first-opinion, emergency and more complex referral-level cases.

• Advanced anaesthesia and patient monitoring, including capnography, ECG and ventilators
  
  
• Dedicated operating theatres and surgical facilities
  
  
• Endoscopy and orthopaedic procedures
  
  
• Chemotherapy and advanced medical nursing
  
  
• In-house IDEXX laboratory equipment
  
  
• Dedicated inpatient facilities and digital patient monitoring
  
  

With such a varied caseload and fantastic facilities, there's plenty of opportunity to develop your nursing skills and experience things you wouldn't necessarily see in a standard GP practice.
 



👩‍⚕️ The Team You'll be joining a genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and supportive team of veterinary professionals who are passionate about delivering excellent care.

The practice works alongside visiting specialists and advanced certificate holders, meaning you'll have exposure to some really interesting cases and the chance to learn from highly experienced clinicians.

There's a strong focus on teamwork, sharing knowledge and encouraging nurses to take an active role in patient care.

And with a dedicated night team already in place, the role is predominantly daytime based, although occasional OOH cover may be required in exceptional circumstances.

💰 The Offer

• Salary up to £35,000 DOE

• 1:4 Saturday and 1:8 Sunday rota
  
  
• Shorter working weeks before or after weekend shifts
  
  
• £1,500 annual CPD allowance + 3 paid CPD days
  
  
• 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
  
  
• Additional annual leave after 2 years' service, increasing up to 30 days
  
  
• Birthday off (when falling on a weekday)
  
  
• RCVS registration fees paid

• Is RCVS registered and passionate about providing exceptional patient care
  
  
• Enjoys a varied nursing role with plenty of hands-on clinical involvement
  
  
• Has an interest in developing their skills in anaesthesia, surgical nursing, ECC or advanced procedures
  
  
• Loves being part of a friendly, collaborative team
  
  
• Is confident communicating with clients and colleagues
  
  
• Is organised, adaptable and happy getting involved wherever needed

Experience in orthopaedics, chemotherapy, endoscopy or advanced anaesthesia would be fantastic, but isn't essential – training and support can be provided!
