An exciting role has opened for a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive and collaborative day team based in Kent.
The practice primary focus is optimising patient care, offering a varied caseload that allows nurses to foster their specific clinical interests. Whether you are a general all-rounder or wish to focus on surgery, wards, anaesthesia, or intensive care, your personal clinical growth will be actively supported. Clear pathways exist to progress into Lead or Senior RVN positions, dedicated departmental roles, or practice management.
🏥 Caseload & Clinical Highlights:
- Varied caseload including orthopaedics, TPLOs, fracture repairs, complex medical cases, laparoscopic spays, and more.
- State-of-the-art facility equipped with top-of-the-range equipment.
📅 Rota & Hours:
- Working Pattern: 4-day working week.
- Shift Times: Shifts range between 7:30am – 5:30pm or 10:30am – 8:30pm.
- Weekend Rota: 1 in 5 weekends, with Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) provided for weekends worked.
👤 Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with strong clinical skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations with confidence.
- Excellent communication skills, strong teamworking abilities, and an empathetic approach to patient care.
💰 Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
- Work-Life Balance: 4-day week with TOIL for weekend shifts worked.
