My client is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team at an exciting time of growth, with a second site currently being developed. The practice has been a trusted part of the community since 1999 and is well-established with a loyal client base. The team consists of 3 vets, 4 RVNs, 4 receptionists/client care staff, and a Practice Manager who is also an RVN. With over 100 years of combined experience, the team is highly skilled, and many members hold additional qualifications including acupuncture, ECC, feline nursing, behaviour, and canine massage therapy. Sharing knowledge, supporting one another, and having fun are all part of daily life in this practice.
The role is varied and includes all aspects of nursing such as clinics, theatre, prep, ward, and lab work. The ideal candidate will be confident with nurse consults and comfortable with anaesthesia monitoring and theatre responsibilities.
The rota has been designed to protect work-life balance. You’ll work 35 hours a week with no OOH, no on-call, and only 1 in 4 Saturdays (with a Friday off in lieu if working a Saturday). Hours are:
Monday – off
Tuesday & Wednesday – 8:30 am to 6:30 pm
Thursday – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Friday (3/4) / Saturday (1/4) – 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
No Sundays
