About Us

We’re a RCVS-accredited, two-site small animal practice based in Bury and Bolton, with a 24-hour A&E hospital in Bury. Our caseload is diverse, fast-paced, and always rewarding.

You’ll work alongside an incredible team of:

• 14 Vets
• 20 Nurses, Student Nurses and Animal Care Assistants
• 13 dedicated support colleagues

Our hospital is fully equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory facilities — everything you need to deliver gold-standard emergency and inpatient care.

No two nights are ever the same — and that’s exactly what makes it so rewarding. 

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for emergency and inpatient care. Experience of critical care would be advantageous.

Key details:

• One week of nights on, two weeks off – giving you a great work / life balance
• 7 nights on duty, Monday to Monday, 11.5 hours per shift
• Occasional overtime available 

You’ll be part of a close-knit OOH team that supports each other, handles a wide range of emergencies, and delivers outstanding patient care throughout the night.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is confident working nights independently
• Has strong communication and organisational skills
• Able to work under pressure with multiple emergencies
