We are looking for a passionate, proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s friendly and experienced team in Lancashire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in a well-established, award-winning community practice with a supportive team, excellent facilities, and exciting plans for future growth.
The successful candidate will be working alongside a friendly, collaborative team of 6 vets, including a triple certificate holder in surgery. You will also have opportunities to assist with orthopaedic and laparoscopic surgery.
This practice also offers excellent facilities including digital X-ray, an in-house lab, laparoscopy, dental suite with dental X-ray, endoscopy, ventilators, capnography, separate species wards and more.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality care to patients and clients
- Supporting with surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative care
- Carrying out nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures
- Monitoring patients, manage admissions/discharges, and dispense/check medications
- Collaborate with vets, support team development, and contribute to daily practice coordination
This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours a week (5x8hr shifts Mon–Fri). However, our client will also consider flexible working hours for the right candidate, so please do let us know your preferences.
