JR has an exciting opportunity for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s 24-Hour Hospital in Leicestershire. The position offers a 12-month fixed-term contract, filling in for a nurse on maternity leave. The hospital has undergone complete renovation and is equipped with advanced veterinary technology, providing a dynamic and modern work environment.
You will be working alongside a Night Vet and a Veterinary Care Assistant. Facilities include cutting-edge technology (x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, etc.) and the clinic is situated in a convenient location with ample parking and transport options.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Deliver exceptional care during surgeries, nurse-led appointments, and through monitoring and administering medications.
- Assist with pre- and post-surgery activities, patient admissions, and discharges.
- Lead briefings and manage team dynamics to ensure smooth operations.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the practice’s efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
This is a Fixed Term Contract, working 5 days on from 7pm – 9am and 5 days off, offering a great balanced work/life.
