A well-established, RCVS and Cat Friendly accredited practice in the Leicester area are recruiting for a new RNV to join their team. It has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, now featuring state-of-the-art equipment, including two theatres, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and separate cat and kennel wards.
Team & Role:
Join our supportive team of seven RVNs, one Student Veterinary Nurse, and one Animal Care Assistant, alongside ten Vets and a large team of Receptionists. This role includes all aspects of veterinary nursing, such as:
- Theatre practice & ward nursing
- Nurse consults
- Laboratory work
- Schedule 3 procedures
Special interests are welcomed and encouraged, with some of our nurses currently undertaking certificates in surgical, diagnostic imaging, and emergency & critical care. CPD is actively supported.
Hours:
- 37 hours per week (4-day week)
- Saturday morning rota: 1:7
Salary & Benefits:
- 6 weeks paid holiday
- £600 CPD allowance per annum
- RCVS, VDS cover & one additional membership paid
- Enhanced paternity & maternity pay
