An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established Small Animal Practice in Lincolnshire as Deputy Head RVN.
This role is ideal for an ambitious nurse looking to take the next step into leadership while continuing to enjoy a varied clinical workload. Working closely with the Head Nurse, you'll help support the nursing team, contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and play an important role in maintaining high clinical standards.
The Role
As Deputy Head RVN, you'll divide your time between clinical nursing and supporting the leadership of the nursing team. You'll help promote excellent patient care, encourage best practice and support the ongoing development of your colleagues.
Your clinical duties will include:
- Theatre and anaesthesia
- Inpatient nursing
- Nurse consultations
- Supporting clinical standards and patient care
- Mentoring and supporting members of the nursing team
- Assisting with the day-to-day organisation of the nursing department

- Salary of £31,000–£35,000 DOE
- Full-time position (40 hours)
