Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to take the next step into clinical leadership? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Head Nurse to join a growing team in Liverpool. Working closely with the Head Nurse, you will play a key role in assisting with the daily clinical activities within the surgery. You will help drive:

Working Hours & Flexibility

The practice understands that one size doesn’t fit all and is proud to offer flexible working patterns because balance matters. The standard full-time structure is designed to support a healthy work-life balance and consists of:

• A 4-day working week
• 9-hour shifts incorporating a mix of consulting, inpatient care, and surgical duties
• A 1-in-4 weekend rota with duty nights on rotation

You will be joining a surgery that belongs to a nationwide, independent, family-owned veterinary group. The extensive on-site facilities and equipment include:

• 2 operating theatres and a dedicated dental suite
• Digital X-ray suite and a handheld dental X-ray machine
• Ultrasound equipment and multiparameter monitors
• Separate lab and an isolation unit
• Separate wards for dogs, cats, and small animals, including walk-in kennels
• A blossoming exotic caseload
