My client is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time basis, working 42 hours per week with a unique schedule of one week on, one week off. This role is perfect for someone who wants to contribute to a high standard of patient care while enjoying a balanced work-life arrangement.
As part of this team, you will join a group of seven veterinarians, including specialists with postgraduate certificates in Surgery, Medicine, and Ophthalmology. The practice offers a varied and engaging caseload where the contributions of Registered Veterinary Nurses are highly valued. The nursing team is considered vital to the practice's ongoing success, and the facility is well-equipped to support the nurses in delivering exceptional care to clients and their pets. Nurses play a crucial role in each patient's recovery and rehabilitation, with significant input on the best nursing care for each case. The practice encourages and supports nurses in their professional development, guided by a comprehensive nursing career framework.
Your role and responsibilities include:
- Managing the assignment of cases to nurses and providing support throughout shifts with a proactive, holistic approach to inpatient care, under the guidance of a Veterinary Surgeon.
