Lewisham is Celia Hammond Animal Trust's (CHAT) Southeast London Centre for veterinary care, rescue and rehoming. Working for us, as well as looking after owned pets, you will have the opportunity to nurse our rescued abused and unwanted animals back to health and into new loving homes. Working for CHAT, you will be making a difference to the welfare of animals in London.
As well as catering for people on low incomes we also accept referrals from many private vets where the owners may have been faced with the option of euthanasia for their pet.
This is a real hands on role and you will be fully involved with the animals, and your initiative will be encouraged and valued. You will find that you will be using all your skills and training in our well equipped centre with with x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, endoscopes etc.
If you have very good veterinary experience and you are passionate about animal welfare, this could be the role for you.

- Dependant on contracted hours you will be required to work one Saturday or Sunday for a full time worker this will be one in every six weekends at our Canning Town clinic
