MJ Health is currently seeking a Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse for our well-established client based in Mitcham, South West London.
Overview
Salary: DOE
Animal type: Small Animal
Shift times: Rotational shifts including evenings, weekends, and nurse care nights (with accommodation provided when sleeping in)
Full time/Part time: Full-time
Out of hours: Yes – nurse-led duty nights included
Weekends: Yes – rota basis
Nurse Consults: Yes – nurse clinics and consultations are key duties
Team size: Collaborative surgery team, reporting to Head Nurse; clinical coaching of Student VNs (2 days/week)
Other info:
Assist Veterinary Surgeons with clinical and surgical procedures including Schedule 3 duties
Theatre preparation, lab work, radiography, inpatient care, euthanasia duties
Participate in reception duties occasionally
Stock control, equipment maintenance, and hygiene responsibilities
Strong focus on clinical excellence, patient welfare, and exceptional client communication
Flexibility and willingness to cover absences and work at other surgeries within the group
Commitment to CPD and adherence to RCVS Code of Professional Conduct
