My client is looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and independent practice in the Tooting area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN seeking a part-time role, working within a supportive and collaborative team.
Position: Part-Time RVN
Shift Pattern: Day shifts with potential rotation of Saturdays
Hours: Up to 30 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee anaesthesia and maintain accurate records throughout procedures
- Keep thorough and precise clinical notes for all patients
- Manage pet-related enquiries and keep owners regularly informed about their pets' progress
- Assist veterinarians during both surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Ensure the surgical and clinical areas are kept clean and well-organised
- Provide expert guidance to pet owners on both routine and specialised care
Requirements:
- At least 1 years veterinary experience preferred (some sole charge required)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for animal care and a compassionate attitude towards both patients and clients
