We are looking for a registered Veterinary Nurse to come and join the team predominantly at our hospital in Hammersmith. You will be able to build a good rapport with clients during nurse clinics, monitor and assist routine and emergency surgeries and have a great opportunity to use and develop your nursing skills behind inpatient nursing. We welcome all nurses of varying skill sets and experience.
Nurses at our Hammersmith animal hospital benefit from using a wide variation of skillsets within a supportive, friendly and proactive team. We run daily routine surgical and consulting clinics, with space to see emergencies each day as they arise.
Rotas are available to view online. We work on an 8.5-hour day (lunch and breaktimes are paid) and a 42-hour week (full time). At our Hammersmith hospital, we benefit from sociable working hours, with most shifts ranging between 8.30-5pm Mon-Fri. Weekends are on a Rota basis roughly 1 in 6 (rest days from these allocated), bank holidays are also on a Rota basis. Some travel to our Victoria and Merton animal hospitals will be required with weekend duties taking place at our 24-hour Victoria Hospital.
All of our Blue Cross hospitals are accredited training hospitals with dedicated night teams to ensure continuous, high standard of care to our patients 24 hours a day.

What is required?
We are looking for people with the following:
• Fully qualified Veterinary Nurse
• Registered with RCVS
• Demonstrable customer service skills
It would also be great if you had:
• Provision of nursing clinics, variety of surgical nursing and nursing of complex medical cases.
• Ability to work independently
