Night RVN – 7 Nights On, 14 Nights Off | Woodstock £27,832 pro rata (£35,000 FTE) | Part-time | 7 Nights On / 14 Off | 24-Hour Hospital Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a night role with an excellent work-life balance? An exciting opportunity has become available for a Night RVN to join a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. With a 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota, this role offers the chance to work in a supportive hospital environment while enjoying extended periods away from work. The role would suit an RVN with a passion for emergency and critical care, although previous ECC experience isn't essential if you're keen to develop your skills within a hospital setting. The Role You’ll work 7 consecutive nights followed by 14 nights off, with shifts running from 7:45pm to 7:45am. During your week of nights, you’ll work alongside an experienced member of the night nursing team and a dedicated night vet. Additional support is also available from two support nurses on call. The hospital has a varied and busy caseload, giving you exposure to a wide range of inpatient and emergency cases. Your responsibilities will include:- Providing high-quality patient care throughout the night
- Monitoring and nursing hospitalised inpatients
- Supporting emergency and critical care cases
- Delivering excellent out-of-hours patient care
- Communicating with and supporting clients
- Working collaboratively with the night vet and wider nursing team
- Contributing to a high standard of patient and client care
- RCVS registration
- Small animal nursing experience
- An interest in emergency and critical care
- A calm and organised approach to overnight nursing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to high standards of patient and client care
- 7 nights on / 14 nights off
- 7:45pm – 7:45am
