The Opportunity
A 24-hour, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in North London is seeking an experienced Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its established overnight team.
This role offers genuine clinical variety, responsibility for overnight patient care, and the opportunity to play a key role in emergency and critical care outcomes.

Overnight Team Structure
- Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Patient Care Assistant
- Veterinary Surgeon
- Supported by a Lead Night Veterinary Surgeon and senior clinical team
Key Responsibilities
- Overnight nursing care for hospitalised and emergency patients
- Emergency triage and critical medical management
- Supporting emergency surgical and medical cases
- Intensive monitoring of in-patients
- Structured handovers to ensure continuity of care
- Contribution to clinical protocols and care standards
- Caseload Exposure
- Emergency and critical care presentations
- Intensive post-operative monitoring
- Medical in-patient care
- CPR and acute stabilisation cases
The Ideal Candidate
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
- Experience or strong interest in ECC and in-patient care
- Confident working overnight within a supported environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
