Are you an ambitious Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a high-performing clinical team? JR Veterinary is seeking a skilled RVN to join the daytime Emergency and Critical Care team at a prestigious, well-established veterinary hospital in North West London.
This is a rare opportunity to work within a 24-hour facility that serves as a primary emergency clinic for the region, offering a highly stimulating and rewarding caseload that includes both internal and external referrals.
The Work-Life Balance
We understand that nursing at this level is demanding, which is why the practice offers a rota designed for longevity and recovery:
- Schedule: 4-day working week.
- Hours: 42 hours per week.
- Weekends: 1 in 6 weekend rotation.
Your Clinical Impact
As an integral part of the ECC and Nursing team, you will support Lead Nurses and Clinicians in delivering gold-standard care to critical patients. This is a truly varied role that utilizes your full range of skills:
- Rotations: Experience through surgery, consultations, and the ICU.
- Advanced Nursing: Carrying out Nurse-led Schedule 3 procedures.
- Patient-Centred Approach: Working within a clinic that holds ISFM Gold Cat-Friendly status and accredited Dog-Friendly certifications.
The Facility
You will be based in a state-of-the-art hospital spread over four floors, featuring:
- A dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Full diagnostic facilities and an on-site laboratory.
- Separate cat and dog wards and a full theatre suite.
