JR is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s small animal practice on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract in North Yorkshire. The role is situated in an RCVS-accredited hospital that combines a traditional ethos of care with modern veterinary medicine. The practice is well equipped with modern facilities including an in-house lab, digital x-ray, endoscopy, ECG, and an advanced ultrasound machine with colour flow Doppler. You will be working alongside a team that includes certificate holders in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, and cardiology, offering a diverse and challenging caseload.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of nursing, including clinics and in-patient care before, during, and after surgery as well as supporting vets during surgeries and ensuring patient care is maintained to a high standard throughout.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract working 39 hours a week over 4 days with 1:8 weekends and an Out of Hours Rota. However, our client will consider a flexible work hour pattern to suit your needs and work/life balance, so please do let us know your preferences.
