We’re excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their warm, community-focused practice in Northamptonshire.

🩺 The Opportunity:

This part-time role (30 hours per week) offers a varied nursing caseload across surgical, medical, and consulting duties. You'll be working closely with a team of dedicated vets and fellow nurses, making full use of your skills while being encouraged to grow and thrive.

The practice is conveniently located near the town centre and is fully equipped with:

✔️ Ultrasound

✔️ ECG

✔️ In-house lab

✔️ Dental facilities

✔️ Separate cat and dog wards/waiting areas

You’ll be joining a welcoming and experienced team with a loyal client base that truly values continuity and quality care.

⏰ The Role:

• 30 hours per week
• 1 in 6 weekends (with appropriate time off)
• Salary: £22,500 – £24,000 (based on experience and hours)
• Opportunities to develop your interests through CPD and funded certificates

💼 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting surgical and medical procedures
• Providing nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
• Managing inpatient care and monitoring
• Overseeing patient admissions and discharges
• Dispensing and checking medications
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and high clinical standards
• Contributing to team coordination and daily briefings

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
• Strong communicator who thrives in a team environment
• Passionate about delivering gold-standard patient and client care
• Confident in nurse clinics and supporting consults
• Keen to support and guide others where needed
