Our clent, an expanding, privately owned first opinion practice with a close knit team with expert knowledge are looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join their team:
You will be responsible for a range of duties, including animal care, monitoring and assisting with anaesthesiology during procedures, handling laboratory samples, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of pets under our care. Additional responsibilities will include preparing animals for surgery, assisting veterinarians during procedures, educating pet owners on proper care, answering phones, booking in appointments, consultations, practice cleanliness and maintaining accurate medical records.
Qualifications
Experience and RCVS qualification in Veterinary Nursing
Proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care, with a focus on compassion and safety
Experience in Anaesthesiology
Reception and consultation knowledge is preferred
Competence in Laboratory Skills, including sample collection and testing
Strong communication skills to liaise with both team members and pet owners
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced working environment
Flexibility, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail
