The role
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to come and join the team at our fantastic practice in Dartford 24 Hour Hospital.
Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.
In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse within our Dartford 24 hour centre, you will be require to put high standards of patient care first and demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.
Full time salary package up to £30,000 depending on experience:
- - Starting salary £30,000 per annum
- - 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends
- - £750 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available
- - RCVS and VDS fees paid
- - 5 weeks paid annual leave plus bank holidays
- - Fair share of bank holiday cover with time back in lieu
- - Minimal on-call duties to support our dedicated night team, if required

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
