GVC are assisting an established and welcoming small animal practice in the Faringdon area who are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys variety, values a close-knit team and wants a role where you can genuinely switch off when you leave work. With no OOH and a regular day off every week, this practice offers a great balance between a rewarding nursing role and life outside work.
The Practice This is a modern, RCVS-accredited practice with a long-standing reputation for providing compassionate care to the local community.
The team sees a wide variety of cases and has lovely, loyal clients who are happy to work cases up. The practice is well equipped with:
- Digital X-ray
- Ultrasound
- In-house laboratory
- Class IV K-laser
- A range of modern clinical equipment
The Role Youâll be joining an established nursing team and will have plenty of variety throughout your week.
The role is split fairly evenly between:
- Theatre and anaesthesia
- Kennels and inpatient care
- Nurse consultations
- Supporting the wider clinical team
Youâll be joining a team that values supporting one another, sharing knowledge and making sure everyone gets through a busy day together.
Working Hours 38 hours per week over 4 days
- MondayâFriday: 8:00amâ6:15pm
- 1 in 4 short Saturday mornings: 8:15amâ11:30am
- Regular day off each week
- No OOH
- No on-call
About You Weâre looking for an RVN who is:
- RCVS registered
- Experienced within small animal practice
- Confident across theatre, kennels and consultations
- A good communicator
- Organised and able to manage a busy workload
- A genuine team player who enjoys working in a supportive environment
- 6 weeks' annual leave including bank holidays
- ÂŁ600 CPD allowance
