The Role Two permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse positions are available at a well-equipped small animal hospital in Whitchurch, South Bristol. Both roles have a surgical interest, making them ideal for RVNs who enjoy theatre work and delivering high standards of patient care.
Full-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Average of 38 hours per week
- 1 in 8 weekends, including Saturday and Sunday
- Up to 2 bank holidays per year
- Thursday and Friday working pattern
- 1 in 4 Saturdays
- Up to 2 bank holidays per year
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high standards of nursing care across a varied small animal caseload.
- Supporting surgical procedures and monitoring patients throughout their treatment.
- Providing compassionate care and reassurance to clients.
- Maintaining high standards of clinical hygiene, patient welfare and practice organisation.
- Working collaboratively with vets and other members of the nursing team.
- Contributing to a positive team environment while continuing to develop your clinical skills.
- RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
- At least two years of nursing experience.
- An interest in surgical nursing and a commitment to excellent patient care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
