We are working with a small animal practice in Shropshire who are looking for an RVN to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract, to cover Maternity Leave. This role will be full-time, working 40 hours over 5 days per week, with a mix of shifts from 0930-1830 / 0830-1730 / 1030-1930. There may be an opportunity for this role to become longer term, and will be reviewed 3 months prior to the end date.
Your role will be assisting in the care of animals and their owners. Undertaking tasks set by senior members of staff in the basic care and running of the practice. Communicating well with clients, meeting and greeting clients and their pets and completing registrations. Monitoring in-patients, providing care and appropriate diets. Assisting vets during examinations and surgeries ensuring the correct procedures are followed for the cleaning and sterilising of instruments, equipment and materials.
