We are recruiting on behalf of an independent small animal practice in North Somerset, for a Head RVN/Clinical Coach. You will be joining their friendly and supportive team and ideally you will be an experienced all-rounder, able to work full-time hours. The clinic is modern, fully equipped, with surgical and inpatient facilities on-site.
The role involves clinical coaching, so some experience of supporting your peers is preferred. Experience in management is also ideal, however training and support will be provided for any budding Head Nurse. Interest & personal development in nurse clinics, teaching, and Schedule 3 VN procedures will be strongly encouraged.
The Head RVN role, with direct support of both Directors, is a mixed role of both hands-on clinical work and admin tasks, such as rota management, VN meetings, appraisals and promoting evidence based clinical improvements.
Hours are 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, plus 1:4 Saturday morning shifts on a shared rota basis. Ad hoc overnight inpatient care on a shared rota basis. No on-call.
