An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic RVN to join a friendly and welcoming team in Bristol. They can offer a fantastic location to work, the surgery is well-located with a bus stop in front of the store. There is plenty of onsite parking with is completely free of charge to all employees.
The practice has all the equipment you’d expect, including laser therapy system, digital radiography, ultrasound, blood machines, BP monitors, ECG machine, capnogram, a surgical suite, a dental suite, and kennelling facilities.
You will join a team of 5 vets, with a range of experience from 25+ years to a recent graduate, 1 RVN, 4 veterinary nursing assistants (one of whom is very close to qualifying), 5 receptionists (including a client care advisor and head receptionist) and a practice manager.
To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. You should be competent on monitoring anaesthesia and all surgical procedures. Good communication skills are also essential as you will be mixing both internally with the team, clients and other professionals.
The Role
- Registered Veterinary Nurse – full or part-time permanent position
- 20 to 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends
- No OOH or sole charge will be required!
