Our client has an opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their passionate and growing team in their new but well-established community-focused clinics. This role is perfect for an RVN who is looking to develop their skills, take initiative, and be part of an inclusive team that values growth and development.
You will be working alongside and supported by a skilled team of vets, nurses, and patient care assistants, with a dedicated reception team ensuring smooth practice operations.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside and with easy transport links this clinic is in a characterful building with modern equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory machines, and multiparameter anaesthetic monitors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide exceptional care during surgeries, monitoring patients, and assisting with pre- and post-operative procedures.
- You will have the opportunity to take the lead on nurse-led consultations and schedule 3 activities.
- Dispense and check medication, ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of care.
- Help coordinate team briefings to support effective practice operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Deliver excellent client care by managing admissions, discharges, and transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care facilities.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week with the option of a 4-day week if preferred. There is also 1:3 Saturday mornings, with time off in lieu.
This role offers salary up to £30,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
