We’re working with a thriving and recently refurbished small animal practice that is expanding its team and looking for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive group of veterinary professionals.

🏥 About the Practice

This progressive, growing practice recently completed a major refurbishment and expansion. Now boasting:

• 6 consult rooms
• 2 modern operating theatres
• Dedicated dental suite (with dental x-ray)
• Digital x-ray, ultrasound, and rigid endoscopy facilities
• Separate wards for dogs, cats, and exotics
• Individual waiting areas and a new isolation ward

With a varied caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits, and exotics, the team includes clinicians studying towards exotic medicine and species-specific nursing certificates. This is an ideal opportunity to grow in a practice that supports continued development and diverse clinical interests.

👥 About the Team

You’ll be joining a stable, close-knit team that includes:

• 6 Vets
• 5 RVNs
• 3 Veterinary Care Assistants
• An experienced support and admin team

Many colleagues have been with the practice for 6–10 years, contributing to a welcoming, collaborative, and learning-focused environment.

🌟 The Role

This is a full-time, hands-on nursing role, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy first-opinion setting and enjoys a varied workload.

You’ll be involved in:

• Monitoring anaesthetics
• Inpatient care
• Nurse consults
• Radiography & ultrasonography
• Assisting with procedures & schedule 3 opportunities
• Stock control & supporting clinical standards
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Weekends: 1 in 4
• Out-of-Hours: None

• We’re looking for a qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse who:

• Is confident across all general nursing duties
• Has strong communication and organisational skills
