We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a proactive and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them as a Floating Nurse.
This is a dynamic, new role designed to provide essential support across five modern surgeries in South Yorkshire (Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley) and The East Midlands (Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire). If you are a confident RVN who excels in varied environments and loves to travel, this is a chance to make a significant impact across a wide network.
Your Role:
As the Floating Nurse, you will be crucial in maintaining stability and high standards of patient care.
- Location Coverage: You will rotate between five sites, filling critical gaps (e.g., covering long-term sickness or vacancies).
- Team Integration: You will quickly integrate with passionate clinical and non-clinical colleagues, leading by example in clinical care and customer service.
- Clinical Focus: You will actively promote pet wellbeing, deliver preventative services, and provide support in the treatment of sick and injured pets.
- Facilities: Work in modern, spacious, and purpose-built surgeries equipped with the latest veterinary technology.

Salary, Schedule, & Benefits Snapshot
Our client values their team and offers a comprehensive package to reward your commitment and skills:
- Salary - £35,000 - £38,000 (Depending on Experience)
- Schedule - 40 Hours per week (4 shifts)
- Weekend Rota - 1 in 4 weekends
- Travel Support - £150 per month Car/Travel Allowance
- Annual Leave - 20 days + Bank Holidays (Some restrictions apply Jul-Aug)
