We are a dedicated mobile end-of-life practice committed to providing compassionate care to our patients. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RVN to join our team in the role of practice and operations manager for our Midlands area to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and manage a dedicated team of vets, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- HR and Health & Safety: Oversee HR functions and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Operations Management: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice, including fleet management and stock control.
- Procedures and Protocols: Maintain and update practice procedures and protocols, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Tech and IT Support: Provide light tech and IT support as needed.
- Recruitment and Interviews: Manage recruitment processes and conduct interviews.
- Financial Tasks: Handle financial tasks.
- Rota Management: Manage staff rotas, holidays, and absences.
- Weekend Work: Support our reception team on Saturdays.
- Part of online consulting team
- Take part in events
Requirements:
- Proven experience in practice management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- A structural approach with good time management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of HR, health and safety regulations.
- Basic tech and IT skills.
- Experience with financial tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN): Required qualification.
Hours: Full-time.
Location: Stafford
Salary: From £37,000 per annum, depending on experience.
