An enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse is required to join an established, growing independent practice based in Surrey.
Joining a supportive clinical team of 8 Vets and 6 Nurses, you will work across branch sites in the local area. The practice places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, offering a varied day-to-day caseload with no out-of-hours duties.
🏥 Practice & Role Highlights:
- Duties: Anaesthesia monitoring, running varied nurse clinics, building client relationships, and supporting the veterinary and reception teams.
- Facilities: Equipped with X-ray, dental X-ray, theatre suite, ultrasound, ECG, capnography, doppler, Bair Hugger, laparoscopy, endoscopy, and class IV laser. Features separate cat and dog waiting areas, consult rooms, and kennels.
- Team: Working alongside experienced RVNs, consulting vets, and surgical vets.
📅 Rota & Hours:
- Working Pattern: 4 to 5 days per week (40-hour week).
- Shift Times: Rota runs between 8:30am – 5:30pm, 10:00am – 7:00pm, or general day shifts between 8:30am – 7:00pm.
- Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am – 1:00pm).
- OOH: No on-call or out-of-hours requirements.
👤 Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
- Minimum 2 to 5+ years’ experience.
- Confident in anaesthesia, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have own transportation to travel between local practice sites.
💰 Remuneration:
- Salary: £30,000+ per annum (dependent on experience).
