An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to step into a Group Head RVN position supporting three small animal clinics across Surrey and South West London. This leadership role offers the chance to shape nursing standards, support team development and make a genuine impact across multiple practices within a modern and growing veterinary group.
The Role
This position is ideal for a confident and motivated RVN with strong clinical experience who enjoys mentoring others and driving nursing excellence.
Working alongside veterinary and nursing teams across three clinics, you will play a key role in supporting the development of RVNs, student nurses and VCAs while promoting high standards of patient care and clinical governance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting nursing teams across three practices
- Mentoring RVNs, student nurses and VCAs
- Maintaining high clinical and patient care standards
- Supporting nurse training and professional development
- Driving consistency and best practice across sites
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture
Working Pattern
- Four days per week
- Nine-hour shifts
- Average 40-hour working week
- 1 in 4 weekends
- Participation in the duty night rota

Person Specification
- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Strong clinical nursing experience
- Previous leadership or senior nursing experience desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for developing others
- Positive, approachable and team-focused attitude
