We are working with a well-established independent mixed veterinary practice in Warwickshire that has been serving the local community for over 125 years. The practice prides itself on delivering high standards of patient and client care within a supportive, friendly team environment.
The practice operates across two sites located just a couple of miles apart and is supported by an experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs, front-of-house staff and management. Facilities are modern and well equipped, including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, TTA kit, extensive monitoring equipment and an in-house laboratory.
Due to a member of the nursing team relocating, they are now looking to recruit a Registered Veterinary Nurse. This is advertised as a full-time position, working 40 hours per week including paid lunch breaks, however flexibility can be discussed for the right candidate.
There is no on-call requirement. Weekend duties consist of Saturday surgeries from 9am to 3pm on a shared rota, approximately 1 in 6, along with a nurse consult shift from 9am to 12pm on a shared basis, approximately 1 in 7.
This role would suit RVNs of varying levels of experience. The team is friendly and supportive, and individual interests are encouraged, with an extensive range of nurse clinics already in place. As a mixed practice, there is also occasional opportunity to assist with farm and equine work.
Applicants must be registered with, or enrolled with, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential due to working across the two sites.
