Our client is looking for a friendly, committed Registered Veterinary Nurse to cover a 6-month maternity leave, with flexible hours for the right candidate.
Located close to the beautiful Cotswolds, this small, RCVS-accredited practice prides itself on being both cat and dog friendly with a team who believe in work-life balance — no out-of-hours, no sole charge, and plenty of team perks like fruit Tuesdays and home-baked cakes, not to mention regular social events.
You will be working alongside 5 vets (including one with a general certificate and another working toward surgery certificate), 4 RVNs, 1 SVN and 4 receptionists.
This practice offer services including laparoscopic procedures, digital and dental X-ray, and endoscopy in-house. The nursing team is passionate about progression also — with certificates in exotics, anaesthesia, and more underway.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a mix of surgery, consultations and inpatient care as well as support clinical coaching, schedule 3 procedures and certificate development.
This is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, 30 hours a week with 1:5 Saturday mornings. However, our client is happy to consider flexible options for the right candidate, so please do let us know your preferences. Opening hours are 8am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am – 12.30pm on Saturdays.
