Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or final-year Student Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy, dynamic 24-hour hospital environment alongside experienced colleagues, including certificate holders and a platform to showcase your skills and grow within the practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Deliver exceptional care to both clients and patients, putting their well-being first.
- Assist in surgeries, pre-and post-operative care.
- Perform nurse-led consultations, including Schedule 3 activities.
- Ensure comprehensive patient monitoring and handle patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Accurately dispense and check medications.
- Lead briefings and coordinate the team to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
- Maintain high standards of client communication, ensuring all their concerns are addressed professionally.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative and busy environment.
- Ability to work independently when required.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week with 1:6 weekends.
