Registered Veterinary Nurse – East Midlands
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a well-established, independent small animal practice. This is a rare vacancy within a practice known for its exceptionally low staff turnover, offering a supportive team environment and genuine work-life balance.
The Role
- Full-time position based on a 4-day week (8:00am – 6:00/6:30pm)
- Flexible working options considered (e.g. 30 hours or 5 shorter days)
- 1 in 5 weekend rota (Saturdays only, no Sundays)
- Very light on-call/OOH requirements with additional pay
Duties include:
- Theatre and surgical nursing
- Inpatient care
- Nurse-led clinics (running daily)
- Supporting a varied small animal caseload
About You
You will be a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) who is confident in general nursing duties and able to integrate smoothly into a busy practice environment.
You will:
- Be comfortable working across all areas of nursing
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, supportive team
- Be proactive and keen to develop areas of clinical interest
