Currently supported by 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 1 VCA, along with 6 Client Care Advisors.As a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch patient and customer care. From scrubbing into theatre for complex surgeries to managing the nursing team and driving best practice, this position offers significant opportunities for professional growth and development. Our client is looking for someone who is a team player, has excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for animal welfare. If you're ready to take the next step in your nursing career and be part of a supportive, forward-thinking practice, this could be the perfect role for you.
- Lead a dedicated nursing team to ensure the highest levels of patient care and customer service
- Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to maintain smooth practice operations
- Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities, making a real impact on patient outcomes
- This role is full time up to 40 hours per week, with no on call, and 1 in 4 Saturdays (8.45am-6.15pm), although fewer hours will also be considered but must be willing to take part in the weekend rota.
- Experience in veterinary nursing and a strong understanding of the industry
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take initiative when needed
- Genuine interest in animal welfare and a willingness to learn and get involved in all aspects of the role
- Interest in Clinical Coaching/Supervising and supporting student nurses (training provided if interested)
- RVN qualification
