The Role
Lydon Veterinary Clinic has an excellent opportunity for a registered veterinary nurse to join their busy team. This would be on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. Day-to-day duties include;
- Nurse consults
- Theatre and prep
- In-patient care
- Assisting in taking blood
- Assisting in biochemistry and haematology within our lab
- Occasional reception and cleaning duties
We are dedicated to ensuring the well-being of our staff and offer a flexible working pattern giving you excellent work/life balance! Our standard shift pattern entails a 5-day week, with a mixture of lates and earlies between 8:15 am – 7 pm. No out-of-hours requirements and no weekends. -
The salary for this role is up to £28,000 FTE depending on experience.
About Us
We are a small animal clinic in the heart of Kingstanding with another friendly practice just 10 minutes away in Great Barr. We have fantastic links to the M5/M6 motorway. Our fantastic team is made up of 5 vets, 7 nurses, 2 student nurses, and 3 receptionists. Supported by our Clinical Director and Practice Manager working between the two branches. We are equipped with excellent facilities including an in-house lab with biochemistry and haematology, digital x-rays and a decent ultrasound scanner.
