Your Journey Here

In Your First Month:
You will settle into the team, learn their systems, understand the flow of the hospital and start to build relationships with colleagues across both the day team and wider services.

In Your First Three Months:
You will be confidently involved in inpatient care, imaging, procedures and referral support. You will begin exploring areas you want to specialise in and have open conversations about your development path.

In Your First Six Months:
You will be a trusted member of the team, contributing to patient care at a high level, potentially starting a funded certificate and helping shape how nursing services continue to evolve.

What’s On Offer

Compensation and Time Off

• £26,000 to £33,000 depending on experience
• Three day week totalling 30 hours
• 10 hour shifts with a full one hour lunch break
• Seven weeks of holiday including bank holidays
• No routine out of hours, only very rare last-resort backup
• Funded CPD, including certificate funding
• Support for clinical coaching, leadership and niche interests

Wellbeing and Support

• Enhanced parental leave (six months at 90 percent)
• Enhanced sickness benefit (two weeks at 100 percent)
• 40 percent staff discount for your own pets
• Occupational health and dedicated mental health resources

Rota and Working Style

• Equal share of daytime inpatient care and emergency help
• Approximately one in seven weekends, with two days off in lieu
• Primarily based at the Chichester hospital, with occasional support across nearby branches
