We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN to join our friendly team at Anderson Abercromby Orthopaedic Referrals on a Fixed Term basis for 8 months (Maternity Cover) at our fantastic purpose-built facility near Horsham. We are also happy to consider applicants seeking a shorter contract of 3–6 months.
Previous referral experience is not required to be considered for the position, all that we ask is that you are a confident RVN with good all-round nursing skills. Full support and a full induction period will be given to ensure you feel settled within the team and your new working environment.
The Role:
- Salary £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- Full time (part time will be considered with a fair share of late shifts)
- Shifts range from 7:15am - 7:00pm (8-hour day).
- 1 in 6 weekends on call
- No OOH’s

Anderson Abercromby Veterinary Referrals is a busy, dedicated, small animal orthopaedic referral practice. We are RCVS PSS accredited and provide high levels of surgical and inpatient care.
Five years ago, the practice re-located to a newly refurbished building with excellent facilities (2 operating theatres and on-site CT) in a beautiful rural setting. We are very well equipped to deal with the full range of orthopaedic procedures (THR, TPLO, CUE, arthroscopy etc).
The Veterinary Team comprises of RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, and RCVS Advanced Practitioner.
The Nursing team comprises of eleven RVNs and two VNAs led by an experienced Head Nurse.
