JR is seeking an RVN who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment while providing mentorship and ensuring high standards of care. This role requires both technical nursing skills and the ability to handle administrative and client-facing tasks. As part of the nursing team, you will be working closely with the Clinical Nursing Manager, ensuring smooth operations in clinical areas and kennels while offering support to junior staff and kennel assistants as well as ensuring high-quality care for patients and clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide top-notch care to all patients.
- Ensure efficient communication.
- Assist patient admissions and discharges, ensuring accuracy.
- Administer treatments and dispense medication under the supervision of a veterinary surgeon.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Assist with reception duties, particularly updating clients about in-patient progress.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
This is a Full-Time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract working 40 hours a week.
This role offers a salary up to £27,000 DOE
