Are you an experienced RVN looking to develop your skills within a busy 24-hour hospital? This could be a fantastic opportunity to join an established hospital and emergency service in West Yorkshire, with a strong focus on nurse development, clinical learning and teamwork.
The Role
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- 4 days per week across a combination of early and late shifts
- 1 in 4 weekends, with weekend shifts consisting of two 10-hour shifts
- Varied hospital caseload, from routine care through to complex medical and referral cases
- Strong focus on inpatient care, anaesthesia and surgical nursing
- Opportunities to develop Schedule 3 surgical skills
- Rotate through wards and theatre to build experience across different areas
- Exposure to advanced nursing skills including feeding tube management, wound and drain care and advanced anaesthesia monitoring
- Applications welcomed from experienced and newly qualified RVNs with relevant hospital experience

- 24-hour RCVS-accredited hospital and emergency service
- Established referral service supporting 19 referring practices
- Large team of more than 60 veterinary professionals
- Experienced RVNs and Vets with postgraduate certificates in ECC, surgery, medicine, dentistry and anaesthesia
- Nurse-led approach with RVNs at the heart of inpatient, anaesthesia and surgical care

This role would suit an RVN who is passionate about patient care and keen to develop within a hospital environment. Experienced nurses are particularly encouraged to apply, but newly qualified RVNs with relevant hospital, anaesthesia or inpatient experience will also be considered.
