Looking for a new graduate veterinary surgeon to join the friendly, social team at a Genuinely Mixed Practice in Aberdeenshire. focus on work life balance, allowing you to enjoy the nearby mountains, sea and city. The role will be 4 days a week with OOH - 1:10 first on call weekends, with 2 vets on call at all times – one as primary responder, the second as additional support if required. Vets are compensated with a 4 day long-weekend after every weekend on call, as well as an additional mid rota long weekend, plus additional cash benefit per OOH call. Structured rota ensuring each vet a guaranteed mix of farm, equine and small animal work, with set operating days included to allow time to work up individual cases to a high standard. 15 minute consults in bite-sized consulting blocks as standard. There is a large team of experienced nurses, and an excellent range of up-to-date kit across all species – including equine and small animal video endoscopes, sector and linear ultrasound scanners for farm and equine work, high quality small animal ultrasound, digital x-ray (including dental and mobile for equine) and more. The ideal candidate would have an interest in all areas (farm, equine and small animal) but would have the freedom and support to build on any field that especially interests them. There is a focus on work life balance, allowing you to enjoy the nearby mountains, sea and city. CPD is actively encouraged with a generous allowance, professional fees and subscriptions are paid for. Car available if required. Competitive salary on offer.
