Our client is looking for an experienced Vet to join their friendly team in Aberdeenshire. The team is supportive and prides themselves on their excellent team work.
The role is as follows:
**4 days per week
**Normal working hours : 8.45am - 5pm
**1:8 OOH (to increase): 8.45am - 6pm
This is a genuinely mixed practice who focus on maintaining a great work / life balance.
During out of hours shifts there is 2 Vets on-call at all times, one as primary responder, the second as additional support if required. Following an out of hours shift you will be compensated with a 4 day weekend as well as an additional mid rota long weekend, PLUS additional cash benefit per out of hours call.
There is a structured rota to ensure that all Vets are guaranteed a mix of farm, equine and small animal work. You will be given set operating days also to allow time to work up individual cases.
Consults are 15 minutes in blocks as standard, with weekly meetings to allow for case discussion.
You will receive the support from a large team of experienced nurses. As well as benefit from an excellent range of up-to-date kit across all species – including equine and small animal video endoscopes, sector and linear ultrasound scanners for farm and equine work, high quality small animal ultrasound, digital x-ray (including dental and mobile for equine) and more.
Candidates will have an interest in all areas, farm, equine and small animal but have the freedom to build on any field that interests them.
