You’ll manage a diverse caseload and be part of a highly skilled team that works collaboratively across surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, cardiology, neurology, oncology, dermatology, and critical care.

Responsibilities:
- Providing urgent medical, surgical, and critical care services, including stabilisation, assessment, treatment, and referral where required.
- Performing a wide range of procedures and interventions, with mentorship and surgical support available for more complex cases.
- Delivering high standards of patient care while maintaining excellent client communication.
- Working alongside specialist teams, ensuring a seamless experience for patients, clients, and referring vets.
About You:
- BVSc or equivalent degree recognised by the Veterinary Council of New Zealand
- Minimum 2 years’ small animal practice experience OR a 1-year rotating internship
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A positive, adaptable attitude and commitment to high clinical standards
- Previous emergency experience advantageous but not essential
