Our client, a large independent, small animal Vet practice are opening a new branch in Berkshire and looking for a Vet Surgeon to join them starting February 2024.
The practice is looking for candidates who are experienced and confident with routine surgeries and emergencies. They also need someone who is able to work alone or as part of a team.
The role will be full time working 4 days per week with a fixed day off and 1 in 4 Saturdays (4pm finish). There is no out of hours or on call.
You will have a team of dedicated nurses to assist on shifts, to help handle patients, write notes, put up meds etc.
There will be state of the art equipment including dental x-ray, Laparoscopy, ultrasound, and full IDEXX laboratory including blood gases and Coags.
There is going to be protected breaks and admin time set within the day and there are dedicated emergency and inpatient shifts, meaning there will be no unexpected extras.
The benefits with this role will include;
**Salary of £40,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience and additional responsibilities).
• No Sundays, out-of-hours or inpatient on call.
• 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays.
• 5 days CPD, basic budget of £1600 with certificates encouraged, supported, and funded.
