An exciting opportunity for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly dynamic team in Leicestershire. The team consists of 5 Vets, 7 Nurses, student nurses and 2 Animal Care Assistants. The role offers a varied caseload with routine medical and surgical cases. An interest in orthopaedics is advantageous, but not essential. High small animal caseload plus exotic cases and equipment including qualified physiotherapist supporting orthopaedic cases, home visits using practice van. Soft tissue surgeon undertaking a Soft Tissue Certificate. Full time role – 40 hours a week with no OOH or sole charge. Shared bank holiday rota (3–4 per year). Modern, spacious premises with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, laser and multiparameter. Excellent transport links, and the practice is ideally located for Leicester, Nottingham and Birmingham, with both East Midlands and Birmingham airports nearby. Visa sponsorship supported and funded by the practice if required. Competitive salary, CPD support, RCVS/VDS fees paid plus more benefits.
