Are you looking for a veterinary role that offers a genuine work-life balance with no weekends? This opportunity could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.
We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years’ experience to join a well-established, standalone small animal practice in the West Midlands. This role offers a supportive environment with excellent clinical standards and real opportunities for progression, including development into a Senior Vet position.
The practice is committed to supporting career progression, with certificates encouraged and funded, alongside a generous CPD allowance. You will be part of an experienced and collaborative team working within a well-equipped environment, allowing you to develop both medical and surgical skills.
The role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time applications considered. You will benefit from structured days, dedicated admin time, and a rota designed to ensure you leave on time.
Key features of the role:
- Monday to Friday only, no weekends
- Flexible working patterns available
- At least one dedicated surgery day each week
- 15-minute consultations with longer appointments where required
- Well-managed diary with regular catch-up slots
- Opportunity to progress into a Senior Vet role with mentoring responsibilities
- Involvement in ongoing clinical initiatives including zero pain accreditation
The practice is fully equipped with advanced facilities, enabling the majority of cases to be treated in-house. You will also be supported by an experienced nursing and support team, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
Package includes:
- Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
- 6.6 weeks annual leave from day one
- Additional paid day off for your birthday
- Generous CPD allowance with certificate support
- Paid professional memberships
- Enhanced employer pension contribution
- Contributory private healthcare
We are looking for a proactive Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical skills or a desire to continue developing them. You will have a positive attitude, a collaborative approach, and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
If you are seeking a supportive practice with excellent work-life balance and long-term career progression, we would like to hear from you.
